Dixon vows to keep daughter humble
Pop star Alesha Dixon has said she wants to "100% make sure" her daughter does not turn into a "monster" growing up in the spotlight.
The Britain's Got Talent judge said she worries that because 19-month-old Azura is growing up without financial worries it will be hard to keep her feet on the ground.
"There isn't a day goes by that I don't give thanks for everything that's happened in my life, good and bad," she told the Sunday Mirror's Notebook magazine.
"Me and my boyfriend have the conversation all the time, 'how do you raise a child to be humble when they haven't had a struggle?' I had a struggle. I never had anything.
"I've felt lost sometimes and even experienced that feeling in my adult life, but anything I went through that was bad spurred me on."
The former Mis-Teeq singer said she does not want Azura to forget how lucky she is.
"I will make 100% sure she knows that," she said.
"Let's just hope she's a good girl and doesn't turn into a monster, eh?"
