DJ spins way to first number one

French DJ David Guetta scooped the top spot in the UK singles chart for the first time with a little help from US singer Kelly Rowland.

Guetta and Rowland's collaboration When Love Takes Over rose from seventh in last week's chart to claim number one.

Rowland, who with Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams was a member of chart-storming girl group Destiny's Child, provides vocals on the track.
