Northern Ireland's favourite guyliner-wearing troubadour returns to home soil for a one-off gig at Queen's University, Belfast tonight.

His platinum-selling 2007 album Songs from the Deep Forest launched an international career, but he still lives in Belfast and, while many of his gigs are reserved for local audiences, he's set to tour the UK later this year.

Recent collaborations include playing alongside Clannad on their album Nadur, and a BBC Proms performance with The Ulster Orchestra at Hillsborough Castle.

His latest album, Look Out Machines!, was released earlier this year and fans can expect to hear a mix of new and old material, as well as performances by Robyn G Shiels and Lisa O'Neill.
