Edwards on Malik's wedding proposal

Perrie Edwards is engaged to Zayn Malik

Perrie Edwards has said accepting Zayn Malik's marriage proposal was a "no-brainer".

The Little Mix star got engaged to the One Direction heartthrob last year and revealed to The Sun on Sunday's Fabulous magazine that she didn't really have to think about it when Zayn popped the question.

"It was a no-brainer! I think you know yourself when the time's right and when you're with the right person," said the 20-year-old.

Perrie also insisted she isn't worried about being too young for marriage, revealing she is quite "old-school" when it comes to relationships.

"I'm not a typical girl that's partying all the time. I just want to be with someone and let that be it," she said.

The couple have yet to start planning their big day but it has previously been reported that they would like to tie the knot on a Barbados beach.
