Eighth grandchild for Ronnie Wood

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood is to become a grandfather for the eighth time after his daughter Leah revealed she is expecting her second child.

Leah, who already has a four-year-old daughter Maggie with her financier husband Jack MacDonald, told the guitarist the news at a family lunch.

She told Hello! Magazine: "We don't see him often but when we do, he'll pick Maggie up and give her kisses and play with her. Dad is really good with Maggie."

Leah's mother - and Ronnie's ex-wife - Jo Wood is still on good terms with the musician despite the end of their marriage.

She said: "You can't live with somebody for over 30 years and not have such a great affection for them."

And she had nothing but praise for Ronnie's new wife Sally, saying: "I get on great with Sally, she's very sweet".
