Elvis Costello will make his first appearance in Northern Ireland with a full band in almost 30 years when he appears in Londonderry this week.

Costello will be accompanied by The Imposters at the The Venue in Ebrington on Thursday.

Costello and the Imposters played to five-star reviews in London earlier this month — the city where his career began.

He would become associated with the British punk movement of the 1970s when he produced acclaimed albums My Aim Is True, This Year’s Model and Armed Forces

Tickets are available from www.millenniumforum.co.uk and are priced at £27.50 to £41.50.
