Firestarters Prodigy close Bestival

The Prodigy brought the festival season to an end with an explosive headline set at Bestival.

The dance act played high-octane versions of hits such as Firestarter, Breathe and Out Of Space, alongside tracks from their latest album Invaders Must Die.

Fittingly - singer Keith Flint went on to set fire to the festival's fairy castle installation and start off the firework display.

Earlier in the day, 1990s wonders Snap played a surprise gig on the Arcadia stage, thrilling festival-goers with an impromptu rendition of I've Got The Power, while Tricky was spotted forking out £150 to buy a baseball cap he'd spotted on someone and liked.

Rounding off the festival's dance day was LCD Soundsystem, who played hits such as Drunk Girls and Yeah to a packed Big Top tent.

Festival organiser Rob Da Bank tweeted afterwards: "Massive thanks to all @Bestival crew who made it our best one yet...reeeessssppeeeccckk! Can I change my pants now pls."
