Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips will pay tribute to Steve Jobs

The Flaming Lips will pay tribute to Steve Jobs at the O Music Awards.

Wayne Coyne's experimental rock band will perform a cover of the Beatles' Revolution then, in homage to the late Apple co-founder, the performance will be recorded with an iPad and broadcast on OMusicAwards.com, MTV has announced.

Electronic-dance singer Robyn will headline the award show, which will take place in Los Angeles on October 31.

MTV said the event "celebrates the artists, innovators and fans impacting digital music culture."

Other performers and presenters include Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Travie McCoy and Tyler, The Creator.

Jobs died at age 56 on October 5 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
