McFly star Tom Fletcher has introduced his baby son to the world in a YouTube video.

The singer and his wife Giovanna welcomed Buzz Michelangelo on March 13 and they have now marked the occasion by unveiling a video that charted the pregnancy, titled From Bump To Buzz.

Tom wrote on YouTube as he published the video: "We took photos every day through the 9 months of our pregnancy, this is the result (plus a little song I wrote called Something New."

The video shows Giovanna wearing the same clothes as her stomach gets bigger and bigger. Tom plays the guitar while singing his song to her belly.

At the end, Giovanna disappears and returns with the baby in her arms.

T he Only Way Is Essex star Mario Falcone is Giovanna's brother and has tweeted about how much he loves his new nephew.

He also commented on the Bump To Buzz video, writing: " This made me cry... The creation of my beautiful nephew Buzz."

Last year Tom and Giovanna also found an unusual way to announce the pregnancy - by carving a message in pumpkins and placing a video online.

Around the time of Halloween the couple created a musical video which saw them slicing through the skin of the squashes to spell out: "We're having a baby."
