Flogging Molly wow fans at the Limelight in Belfast

Irish-American Celtic punk band Flogging Molly performed to a packed out Limelight in Belfast on Monday night.

The seven strong group took to the city centre stage following the release of their latest studio album Life Is Good this summer.

The band played a huge set list for their fans, including their best known tracks Drunken Lullabies and Selfish Man - which lead singer Dave King dedicated to himself.

The Dublin born musician admitted to the crowd the band were all feeling a bit hungover following a gig in his hometown on Sunday.

But they still managed to put on a great show for the crowd who filled the Limelight as the band performed their brand of Celtic infused punk rock.

Speaking about their particular style of music, King recently said: "We're not a traditional band. We are influenced by traditional music and inspired by it, but without question we put our own twist on it."

Following their dates in Belfast and Dublin, the band are set to perform a number of gigs in North America.
