Florence feared damaging her voice

Florence Welch feared performing would damage her voice

Florence Welch has opened up about the vocal scare that prompted her to cancel shows in Spain and Portugal.

The star, who performs as Florence And The Machine, told Good Morning America that she had been forced to cancel her performances at Benicassim and Optimus Alive to avoid damaging her voice.

"I was singing...and I actually felt it. I lost about three octaves, I had to sing really low just to get through the show," she said.

"I just couldn't really speak - I was desperate to do the shows, I really wanted to still do them, but I could have done permanent damage."

But Florence was back on form as she performed her latest single spectrum, currently number one in the UK singles chart, on the US TV show.

It looks as if the prospects for a relationship are good, so long as your intentions are honourable. Playing with a person's heart will backfire miserably. Make sure your feelings are deep and true before embarking on an affair.More
