Lady Gaga is back on her feet after her operation

Lady Gaga is back on her feet and back into her towering platform heels less than three months after having hip surgery.

The Born This Way singer was forced to cancel her world tour in February after being diagnosed with synovitis - a chronic condition which causes joints to swell. Following surgery she was left wheelchair-bound.

But Lady Gaga has been pictured strutting through the streets of New York in huge black platform shoes, teamed with a black mini-dress and retro sunglasses.

This week she made her first public appearance since her operation, when she joined jazz trumpeter Brian Newman live on stage at the Gramercy Park Hotel.

They performed a special cover of the song Someone To Watch Over Me.

Brian tweeted after the show: "Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight an singing a song!!"

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Taurus:

It isn't healthy to be emotionally dependent. Becoming more self reliant should be your first order of business, especially if you're in a troubled relationship. Your partner may balk at your decision to acquire new skills, get a job or accumulate property. Pay no attention to their complaints. The sooner you carve out a niche for yourself, the happier you will be. Slowly but surely, the balance of power will be restored to your union. It's time to come into your own.More
