Lady Gaga has threatened hackers who leaked her new single on the internet, and asked fellow victim Katy Perry to join her.

The singer was left fuming after Applause, due out on August 19, was leaked at the weekend, while Katy's new track Roar was also leaked early.

Gaga tweeted Katy, saying: "Wanna grab some shovels and f*** up some hackers? @katyperry excited to hear your ROAR, sorry to hear about your truck!"

The singer said she was disappointed and wanted her fans to hear the best quality version of her new song, not the pirated copy.

Gaga wrote: "Lord, in HEAVEN WHY YOU JUST COULDNT WAIT THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ONE SATURDAY.

"Now its not that we HATE computer speakers its just they're not as HQ. We spent time actually making sure it sounds good in s*** speakers.

"Don't worry. THE HAUS BUREAU is on the case. -TechHaus."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Sagittarius:

Working in isolation doesn't suit you. You're a social creature who gets your best ideas when collaborating with others. Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. Resign yourself to this difficult situation. If you do a good job, you'll pave the way for bigger and better assignments. Part of the problem is you lack experience. The only way to get the training you need is to do some volunteer work. Making a temporary sacrifice will eventually pay off. Be patient.More
