Selena Gomez has played down claims that her new song Come And Get It contains lyrics about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The 20-year-old actress and singer split from Justin, 19, earlier this year after dating on-and-off for two years.
Selena's new single, previewed online this week includes the lyrics: "Can't stop because I love it, hate the way I love you. All day all night maybe I'm addicted for life, no lie."
The former Disney star also sings: "I'm not too shy to show I love you, I got no regrets. I love you too much, much to hide you, this love ain't finished yet."
But Selena - who is reported to have recently met up with Justin at her home in California during a break on his European tour - denied the lyrics were aimed at her ex.
She told Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show: "Honestly to be 100 per cent real, it's not really about a specific person.
"The reason why I wanted this to be the first single was because it exudes, like I said earlier, confidence and strength and that is something I'm willing to share with the world, that's the place I want to be in, I want to represent something good and be a good example. So, I think it's fun."
