Grace Jones to release a memoir

Grace Jones has announced she is going to write a memoir.

The Jamaican-born singer, model, actress and Studio 54 legend has an agreement with Gallery Books for a book scheduled to come out next year.

The 65-year-old will share stories about rooming with Jerry Hall, collaborating with Andy Warhol and acting with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Grace once vowed that she would never tell her story in a book.

In a statement released by Gallery, the star noted that her song Art Groupie began with the line, 'I'll never write my memoirs.'

It seems she changed her mind after deciding that if she didn't pen the book, someone else would.

Gallery, an imprint of Simon And Schuster, has announced that the book is currently untitled.
