Professor Green has admitted feeling like "a rabbit in the headlights" as his career has taken off.
The London-born rapper has had a busy 12 months, which has included the release of his second album, At Your Inconvenience, and confessed it's been an "absolutely mental" time.
"It was like becoming successful all over again," he said.
"I remember being on The X Factor on a Sunday night, the night we went to No 1 with Read All About It, and then we were on Jools Holland on the Tuesday - treading the line between commercial and credible quite well, I think. I was like a rabbit in the headlights back then but I've since had a bit of time to reflect and pinch myself."
Discussing his plans for the future, the 28-year-old said he isn't rushing to complete his next record.
He said: "There are still a few shows to go, the last ones are booked up for October, and I'm gradually doing work on the next record. I'm not rushing anything, and just working out what direction it's all going to go in.
"Slowly but surely, planning the world takeover, basically."
