Guns N' Roses are to hit the stage at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.

The band's frontman Axl Rose will be honoured with the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement gong at the m agazine's sixth annual hard rock awards show.

Joan Jett will be presented with the Golden God Award, given to an artist who "embodies the spirit of hard rock and metal". The star - the first female to earn the accolade - will also take to the stage.

Other performers include Korn, A Day To Remember, Zakk Wylde and the Pretty Reckless, the band led by former Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen.

The awards will be held on April 23 at the Club Nokia in Los Angeles.
