Niall Horan of One Direction has joked that the band's lifestyle is like "an extended Inbetweeners movie".
The Irish singer revealed that he and band members Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik could be compared with the hapless stars of the teen comedy, and told The Sun: "Maybe I'll start growing a beard and become the wise old man of One Direction."
Recently the band spent time in a casino which ended in some members losing a significant amount of money. Niall said: "It got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost."
However, fame definitely has its upsides, and not just for members of the band. Niall said: "I had four mates over from Ireland the other weekend, they came to a Chelsea game as guests and then we went to V Festival."
Niall's friendship circle extends to include Ed Sheeran and Frank Lampard, but he can still be in awe of other celebrities.
He confessed that when he met Liam Gallagher, "I couldn't stop telling him how big a fan I was, I love Oasis".
