Enrique Iglesias will not be joining Britney Spears on tour despite her announcement that he would.
Britney said on ABC television's Good Morning America that the pair would be hitting the road together.
But Enrique's representative Gary Mantoosh has now said that his client and Britney will not tour together "despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run."
The statement says Enrique "is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone". It says the Latin singer, who is on tour in Europe, respects Britney and is a fan of her work.
Britney has released her seventh album, Femme Fatale. Her US tour kicks off on June 17 in Sacramento, California.
