Liza Minnelli is cancelling seven forthcoming performances because she has bronchial pneumonia.
Minnelli released a statement on Thursday through her publicist saying she was ordered by her doctor to cancel the shows.
In her statement, she says performing live is her passion and she's "greatly disappointed" that she had to cancel the tour dates.
The cancelled performances include an October 15 concert in Spokane, Washington; an October 22 show in Appleton, Wisconsin; and an October 29 appearance in Joliet, Illinois She also will miss shows in Indiana, Massachusetts and Tennessee.
The entertainer says she'll be back on stage November 20 in Staten Island, NY.
