Dancing keeps Rolling Stone Mick Jagger in shape
Dancing keeps Rolling Stone Mick Jagger in shape

Mick Jagger has revealed he manages to keep his figure on point with ballet dancing.

The Rolling Stones frontman is in great shape for 69 and according to The Sun it's down to a punishing exercise regime.

He said: "I train five or six days a week. I alternate between gym work and dancing then I do sprints, things like that. I'm training for stamina."

With live gigs coming up this summer in London's Hyde Park and at Glastonbury, Mick has been working hard to make sure he can stand the pace of being on stage for long sets.

He also manages to fit in yoga and Pilates sessions to keep himself flexible.

Mick, due to perform at Glastonbury later this month, told The Sun about his preparation for the festival, which includes, "bed early, about 2am".

"Up at 10am. Any earlier, you'll be too relaxed by show time," he said.

Hyde Park plays host to the Rolling Stones' 50 and Counting Tour on July 6 and 13.
