Jane Horrocks would have liked a singing career

Jane Horrocks has said she'd have loved a singing career - and she's been spending time in a recording studio.

The Absolutely Fabulous actress showed off her vocal talents in Little Voice in 1998 and later, in Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.

After Little Voice, she released a CD of her singing songs in the style of other famous artists.

Jane said: "I would have loved to have done that (had a singing career). I think that would be amazing. I mean I love music - I sometimes wish I was 20 again and I could live it all again."

The Lancashire-born actress, who is back for a third series of Trollied, revealed: "I am actually doing some music stuff - doing my own music, some cover versions.

"I'm not sure I'm going to release them yet, so I'm not going to talk about them in detail, but I am reliving my twenties again!"

:: The new series of Trollied begins on Sky1 on Thursday, August 22

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Pisces:

It's sometimes difficult for a retiring person like you to showcase your talent. You are tired of being eclipsed by pushy rivals. By showing your work to the right people, you can finally gain the fame and acclaim you deserve. Fortunately, an influential friend, neighbour or colleague can set up an interview or introduction. An important executive or critic will be impressed by your efforts. If you're offered an unpaid position as an intern or apprentice, take it. This will lead to professional opportunities you couldn't find through other channels.More
