Jay-Z and Kanye clash over tour?
Jay-Z and Kanye West have reportedly clashed over plans to tour with their new album Watch The Throne.
The rappers have teamed up to form The Throne, with their album released on iTunes on August 8 and everywhere else four days later, and tickets are due to go on sale this week for a Live Nation tour in September.
But while Kanye is keen to blow their budget on a lavish tour to outshine all others, businessman Jay-Z is meticulous about costs and wants to pay back a long-term advance he has with Live Nation, insiders have told the New York Post.
A source said: "Jay-Z can't deal with Kanye. Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blow-out show. He doesn't care about costs."
The Stronger star is expected to agree to the conditions of the tour next week, but the disagreement between himself and Jay-Z may have caused a rift between them.
The pair performed separately with Young Jeezy last Monday night at New York's Highline Ballroom and did not go out together after the show.
But the two are reportedly due to perform together at a party this week at The Rose Planetarium in Central Park.
