Katherine Jenkins has denied rumours that she is taking a break from her music career to start a family.
The Welsh songstress - who is engaged to fellow Welshman Gethin Jones - said she would never give up singing, even when she has a baby.
"I'm not giving up music. No, no. I did read that and I think it's something that gets more exaggerated the more it [goes around]," she said.
"When I do decide to have a family and settle down, I think it would be nicer to take some time off and enjoy motherhood rather than have this crazy lifestyle that I have now. But I'll always sing - even if it's not on this scale, I will still always be singing so I will not be giving the music up."
Katherine - who was promoting her new album Daydream at HMV in Manchester's Trafford Centre - said she would love the opportunity to act again, following her debut screen appearance on Doctor Who as Abigail Pettigrew.
"To do Doctor Who was amazing, and I'm so glad I got the opportunity. I'm glad I pushed myself, because I wasn't sure if I could do it to begin with," she continued.
"Now that I've done it, I really actually enjoyed myself so I think if it was the right project and a musical thing, I definitely would be open to it. I have Abigail to thank for that!"
