Jepsen finds inspiration everywhere

Carly Rae Jepsen played a gig in her hometown

Carly Rae Jepsen has confessed she makes song notes in some strange places as a result of her hectic schedule.

"If I had my iPhone with me I would play you this idea I had to put down in the airport bathroom just yesterday," the Call Me Maybe singer told the Abbotsford Times.

"I heard a woman use a word and it connected with a title and suddenly there I was quietly singing it in the bathroom."

This week, Carly Rae played a special gig in front of 500 fans - and her gran - in her hometown.

The Canadian singer performed her hits at the Clarke Foundation Theatre in Mission, British Columbia - where she last performed as lead in the musical Annie.

Carly Rae joked: "I am thinking of throwing in a little Tomorrow to the set. My grandmother is coming and she saw me then, too. But that wig is never coming back - never."

In the New Year, the 27-year-old will continue touring as support act for Justin Bieber and then headlining her own tour.

"We're going to Europe with Justin and then heading to Japan for a headlining show, which I am super excited about because I really loved it there," she added.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
