Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed she feels like a "lucky duck" as she prepares to take to the European Music Awards stage for the first time.
The Call Me Maybe star, who is up for three nominations, will join Rita Ora and Fun. to make their performing debut at the star-studded MTV ceremony, which is being held in Frankfurt on November 11.
"This will be my first time at the MTV EMAs, and I am beyond thrilled - feeling like a lucky duck for the nominations and the chance to perform," she said.
"Now the only concern is what to wear! Let the party begin, Frankfurt," she added.
New York indie group Fun. - comprising of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff - added: "It's so incredible that we'll be playing at the MTV EMAs, when not that long ago not many people knew who we were in Europe! It just feels like that dream most people don't get to experience."
Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt are also set to perform on the night, which is hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum.
Rihanna and Taylor top the list of nominees with six and five nods respectively, while Justin Bieber and Katy Perry follow closely behind with four nominations each.
The 19th annual awards show will broadcast live from Frankfurt's Festhalle on November 11, at 9pm on MTV channels around the world.
