Jessie J storms on despite foot
Jessie J proved to be a trooper as she took to the stage last night.
Despite her left foot being in a spangly cast, the chart-topping superstar shimmied and danced through her hour-long set to launch the latest collection of BlackBerry 7 smartphones and the new BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) Music service at London's Sketch.
Dressed in a figure-hugging catsuit with a purple wig, she joked about having a "rice belly" after her meal: "This outfit is so tight I'm gonna have pregnancy rumours after this. I have a rice belly!"
Jessie couldn't resist a pop at the people who carried on talking through her set, which included hits like Do It Like A Dude, Price Tag and new single Domino.
"I'm going to make a shout-out to all the people that didn't know who I am and came here to try and get a free phone," she said.
"Thanks for talking through my songs. You make me want to write a better album that you will buy and like."
The 23-year-old singer, who was supported by celebrity friends Tinchy Stryder, Dougie Poynter from McFly, Wretch 32 and Ellie Goulding, revealed the show would go on, despite her injuries.
"My leg is very sore, it's really swollen," she said before the launch.
"I am taking it easy as much as I can. But I'm all right, I am pulling through. Adrenaline can take you to places that you don't think you can go."
