Jimmy Osmond pulled for breath test

Jimmy Osmond has been stopped for a random breath test - and posted a film of the incident online.

The US star - who topped the UK charts in 1972 with Long Haired Lover From Liverpool - was pulled over by police in North Wales.

He remained in good humour about the incident and said he "had a laugh" with the police who were checking to see if he was over the limit in the run-up to Christmas.

Jimmy, 51, is starring in panto in Llandudno, appearing as Baron Hardup in Cinderella.

In the film, which he posted on YouTube, he is seen to pass the test while standing with North Wales Police officers in fluorescent jackets.

He sent a message to his Twitter followers which said: "Randomly stopped for breathalyser test, had a laugh, made some new friends! Safe, clean town, love it!"
