JLS can't wait for Jackson concert

JLS will be performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert

JLS have revealed it is "a dream come true" to be performing in the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert this autumn.

The boys will join the stage with a host of stars including Alexandra Burke to showcase some of the memorable performances by the late king of pop, from his Jackson 5 hits through to his later solo singles.

"To say it's a dream come true is an understatement," JLS star Marvin said. "I'm the biggest Michael Jackson fan and he's the reason why I started singing, so to be associated with him and to perform at this concert is amazing."

Alexandra Burke, the 2008 X-factor winner and contestant alongside JLS, said she felt "honoured" to be part of the concert. "He is my hero, someone who has inspired me from a very, very young age. This concert is going to go down in history and I just love [him]."

The Bad Boys singer also admitted she's already preparing for the big event. "I'm going to work that stage, I can't wait to dance. I've already bought my Michael shoes - these amazing shoes with glitter on them that scream 'Michael!'"

Fans from across the world can also expect to see artists Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott, Craig David, and Britain's Got Talent dance group Diversity. The gig will be performed to an audience of some of the Jackson family, including Michael's mother and children, as well as fans from all over the globe.

Beyonce will also be paying tribute to the Billie Jean star, despite her announcement at Sunday's MTV awards that she is pregnant. It is expected that more acts will be added to the list of artists in the coming weeks.

The show, called the Michael Forever Tribute Concert, will be held on October 8 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. Tickets are on sale now from www.michaelforevertribute.com and HMVtickets.com and participating HMV Stores priced at £55.
