Russell Kane is set to present the 2013 NME Awards.
The funnyman will be the host at the music ceremony, which will take place on February 27 at The Troxy in East London.
"When I heard I was hosting these legendary awards I wanted to smash up my guitar in excitement. I don't have one. So I broke into my neighbour's house and smashed theirs. Arrested. Worth it. The NME awards are effing great!" he said.
The Rolling Stones are up for four awards alongside MIA and two never before nominated acts - Tame Impala and up-and-coming act Haim.
The Maccabees have received three nods along with David Bowie and NME Awards favourites Arctic Monkeys.
