Kanye West performs for Facebook

Kanye West's new album is expected to be released on September 14

Kanye West is making sure he's up to date with the social networking sites.

The star - who is set to release a new album - has joined Twitter, one day after going to the offices of Facebook in California to preview some of his new material.

Videos of the artist rapping while standing on a conference table have been posted on YouTube.

Kanye later posted a letter to Facebook on his website, thanking the staff for their support, saying: "Your energy was a gift so electric, so genuine, that it really helped me give my best."

An email request for comment from Facebook was not immediately returned.

Kanye's new album, which doesn't have a title yet, is expected to be released September 14.

Taking a nap, solitary walk or hot bath will revive your spirits. Get into the habit of spending more money on creature comforts. Treat such as gourmet food, beautiful clothes and intriguing books are investments in your happiness.
