enlargeKaty Perry has hit back at the recent controversy surrounding pictures of her holding a knife to her face.
The singer has posted a new photo on her website making fun of the pose by holding a spoon, with the caption she does "condone eating ice cream with a very large spoon".
She has also left a message for the Sun newspaper saying: "Dear Sun: You deserve a time out. Your 'journalistic' approach has half the soul of the National Enquirer. Shame on you."
