Katy Perry turns weather presenter

Katy Perry has enjoyed a stint as weather girl - but she might have to stick to the day job.

The singer, 29, headed in front of the camera to give Australians their forecast on Channel 7 show Sunrise while promoting her concert tour.

She sparked giggles from the presenters when she struggled with some of the names of Australian cities such as Cairns and the capital Canberra, and jokingly called Hobart, Hogwarts.

Katy was also asked about becoming an auntie for the first time.

The Roar singer tweeted last month: "Finally you can add 'helps delivers babies in living rooms' to my resume! It's been a miracle of a day."

She told the show: "My sister just had a baby in her living room about five days ago and I was there.

"I was filming it (Martin) Scorsese style. I was there, I was helping, I think I was helping!"
