Kevin Richardson is to rejoin the Backstreet Boys for a new album.
While performing on stage at London's O2 arena as part of their supergroup with New Kids On The Block, NKOTBSB - Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough announced that they will return to London in the summer to record their eighth album, and Kevin will be joining them.
Kevin, Brian's cousin, left the band in 2006, but he has been reunited with his pals for live performances on a few occasions since. He is also believed to be working on a solo album.
Meanwhile, there was more happy news for the band as AJ also told the crowd he is "a daddy to be".
The 34-year-old singer and wife Rochelle Deanna Karidis also released an announcement on YouTube that they are expecting their first child together.
AJ said: "I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support. We recently got married - I was the most recent Backstreet Boy to take the plunge.
"Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you - for the first time - something very special. We're having a baby!"
The singer made a very public proposal to Rochelle during a concert in Las Vegas two years ago and they married in Beverly Hills last December.
