Alicia Keys has revealed that her two-year-old son would love to join her on stage.

The Girl On Fire songstress told JLS singer and new dad Marvin Humes on Daybreak that Egypt keeps asking her but she has to say no because it's too late.

She said: "He wants to be on the stage so bad. He has amazing rhythm and he asks me to get on stage. Every night, he's like, 'Can I come on stage? Can I dance?' So I'm trying to figure out the moment to do it but the moment that's good is kinda past his bedtime!"

Egypt was spotted dancing backstage at her concert at London's O2 Arena, as she continues on the European leg of her Girl On Fire world tour.

Alicia is glad that her son can join her on the road.

"I guess I'm really fortunate because he's young enough to not be in school but old enough to travel well, so I'm fortunate to be able to bring him with me on the road," she said.

"I don't know what I'm going to do when he has to be in school, I really don't - I might just stop and be like 'Halt! - I can come out for the summers'."

It feels like friends are few and far between. If you're not getting the help you need, ask why. It may be because you have been so preoccupied with work. Skipping special occasions and failing to return phone calls causes resentment. You have to be more engaged to sustain loving bonds. Call someone you've missed. It may take a few tries, but it's worth the effort. Be forthright about why you have been out of touch. Communication is the cornerstone of every healthy relationship.More
