Kian Egan to release solo album

Kian Egan is releasing a solo album in March

Kian Egan has announced that he has signed a record deal to release his first solo album.

The Westlife star - who won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! at the end of 2013 - will unveil his record on March 17, reported the Daily Mirror.

The 33-year-old, whose band split in 2012, said: "I am incredibly excited to be recording an album with Warner Music.

"Music is my first love, and to be able to get in the studio to record these amazing songs by such wonderful writers is such a thrill and an honour for me."

The name of the album - which will apparently include songs from the star's personal playlist of favourites - has not yet been announced.

Kian is following in the footsteps of bandmate Shane Filan, who launched a solo offering, You And Me, last year.

Don't let a manipulator take advantage of you. Someone with a sob story will ask for money or favours. Be prepared to turn them away. Although you want to be gracious, it simply isn't wise to give assistance to people with bad motives. Other people have warned you about this trickster. Take their advice. There's often a good reason why a person has a bad reputation. If anyone dares accuse you of being selfish, stay strong. You have a right to use your hard earned money for your own benefit.More
