Kiss to headline Download festival

Kiss are set to headline at Download Festival next year.

The US rockers - fronted by Gene Simmons - will take to the stage to close the event at Derby's Donington Park on Sunday June 14.

They join previously announced headliners Slipknot and Muse, who will headline the annual rock and metal festival on the Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.

Download will run from June 12 to June 14, 2015, and other acts who will perform include Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Judas Priest, Faith No More, Enter Shikari and A Day To Remember.

Five Finger Death Punch and Black Stone Cherry will also play sets, and other acts are due to be unveiled later.
