Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott has announced her pregnancy on Twitter, calling the baby "our Christmas gift".
A spokeswoman confirmed the news and said no other details were available. It will be the first child for the 26-year-old Need You Now singer and her husband, Chris Tyrrell.
After announcing the news, Hillary tweeted that she was headed to bed: "... this growing a baby thing makes ya sleepy!"
Lady Antebellum is due to attend the American Country Awards on Monday.
