Avril Lavigne has congratulated The Voice winner Cassadee Pope after their duet in the final of the US show.
The Sk8tr Boi singer performed her hit I'm With You alongside pop-punk singer Cassadee, who went on to be crowned champion.
Avril tweeted afterwards: "Congratulations @cassadeepope great job tonight !!! That was fun. All the best to you."
Cassadee - who was mentored by country singer Blake Shelton - had performed two of Avril's tracks earlier in the series.
She tweeted: "Just met my idol. AND sang with her. What a sweetheart."
After her victory, the singer wrote: "Holy moly cannoli!!!! I won!!!!!!!! Thank you all SO much. I'm absolutely in awe and so thankful for this incredible experience."
