Libertines announce European tour
The Libertines are to tour Europe in the autumn, following their reunion gig in Hyde Park this summer.
The rock quartet, who last reunited in 2010 to perform at the Reading/Leeds Festival, previously announced they will perform at the British Summer Time event in London in July.
Now Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell have announced shows in France, Holland, Belgium and Germany in September.
They will also play a warm-up show at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on June 29, and appear at the Spanish Benicassim Festival, playing on July 19 and Optimus Alive festival in Portugal, on July 12.
Pete previously told NME: "We were talking about doing some new songs. Or even better, finishing some old songs that we always knew should have been on Up The Bracket if we could have been a**ed. I could hum them and Carl would know about them."
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 20 at 9am.
