Lohan records song with Duran Duran

Lindsay Lohan has revealed an upcoming collaboration with Duran Duran.

The actress teased she could revive her music career when she posted a picture of herself in the recording studio with two of the English rockers and her sister Aliana on Twitter and Instagram.

"#DuranDuran @aliana recording with some greats!!!" she wrote, alongside a photo of her with Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes.

Duran Duran sparked speculation that the track which Lindsay features on could appear on their forthcoming 14th album, due to be released in 2015.

The group shared the same photo on their Twitter account, with the caption: "Well this shot even surprised HQ! @duranduran, @lindsaylohan, @aliana, #DD14."

Lindsay, who made her stage debut in the West End production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, has been focusing on her acting career in recent years. Her last musical outing was the 2008 single Bossy.

She admitted she has reminisced about her music career, tweeting: "10 years ago today was the release of my first album #SPEAK #SoLongAgoSunday."

Simon has worked with Charli XCX and Lorde on the track Kingdom, for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack.

Duran Duran have also confirmed they have worked with Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante for their new album.
