Lott is feeling sorry for Bieber
Pixie Lott has said she feels sorry for fellow chart star Justin Bieber because she can relate to what it's like to be young and in the public eye.
The All About Tonight singer told the Daily Mirror that she liked to go on nights out with friends too, but had to balance that with being a role model.
She said: "That's just what girls my age do, what all my friends my age do. I want to be a good role model but the most important thing for me is to be a realistic role model.
"I don't want to be completely crazy but I don't want to not go out and party, because that's just not what 23-year-olds do, is it? "
Pixie added that she felt bad for Justin: " I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. If you think about it he's just 19 and people make mistakes at that age. I can imagine loads of boys across the country doing the same thing.
"I've never done anything as extreme. But if I did I know it would be watched. It is harder, you know. I've been offered drugs before. Every teenager gets in that situation but my friends and I are just not interested.
"So those friends and family are keeping me grounded. I'd like to say: 'Yes, I've nearly come off the rails' but I haven't and I know I'd have support if that ever did happen."
She also gave her views on Miley Cyrus' controversial transformation from child star to sexy siren: "Miley wasn't forced into it. She wants to be like that and it works for her.
"If it's what she wants to do then good luck to her. Everyone has the freedom to do what they want to do. I certainly don't feel any pressure."
