Love: I've lost Nirvana's millions

Courtney Love admitted she has spent millions of Nirvana's money

Courtney Love has revealed she has lost millions of "Nirvana money" over the years.

The 50-year-old singer, the widow of the group's frontman Kurt Cobain, admitted to using up around 29 million US dollars largely on settling various lawsuits.

The Hole frontwoman told Australia's Sunday Style magazine: "I lost about 29 million US dollars - I know that's a lifetime of money to most people, but I'm a big girl, it's rock 'n' roll, it's Nirvana money, I had to let it go."

Asked about her current financial state, she added: "I make enough to live on, I'm financially solvent, I focus on what I make now."

Courtney, who has made amends with former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl after a 20-year feud, has signed up for a role in Sons Of Anarchy, where she will play a school teacher.

She is also involved in a Kurt Cobain biopic, which she hopes will begin filming in 2015.
