Love joins Sons Of Anarchy cast

Courtney Love is set to star in the final season of Sons Of Anarchy as a preschool teacher.

The Hole frontwoman will make her TV acting debut in season seven of the series about a biker club, according to TV Line.

She will play Ms Harrison, the preschool teacher of lead character Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son Abel, who takes a special interest in her pupil, sparking a reaction from Abel's mother Wendy (Dreade Matteo).

Courtney has plenty of acting experience in films, despite not having appeared in a TV show before - she featured in The People vs Larry Flynt, Andy Kaufman biopic Man On The Moon and the Kiefer Sutherland drama Beat.

Sons Of Anarchy season seven will also star another musician, as Marilyn Manson has been cast as a prison leader who has dealings with Jax.

The programme has previously seen Dave Navarro as a recurring gang member in series five and six.

Courtney will make her debut in the series in episode four of season seven, which airs in the US on FX this autumn.
