Love reunites with Hole line-up
Courtney Love has revealed she has been rehearsing with her Hole bandmates, 12 years after they split.
The 49-year-old singer sparked speculation that a Hole reunion could be on the cards after admitting she has put aside her differences with Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson and Patty Schemel.
"I started playing with Patty and Melissa and Eric, just to see how that was," Courtney told The Quietus.
"We already played like three or four times in the last week."
Courtney previously hinted at the possibility of a reunion when she posted a picture of herself and the group's lead guitarist Eric on her Facebook and Twitter pages last year. She also tagged Melissa in the photo, along with the caption: "And this just happened... 2014 is going to be a very interesting year."
The four musicians last recorded together on 1998's Celebrity Skin, and parted ways in 2002. Their last performance together, and the first in almost 15 years, was in 2012 when Courtney joined the trio on stage at an after-party for Schemel documentary Hit So Hard.
Courtney, who will tour the UK in May, is set to release a new single, Wedding Day. She has reportedly recorded eight songs for her new solo album, tentatively titled Died Blonde - her first solo material since 2004's America's Sweetheart.
