Lucky escape for Beyonce at gig

Beyonce was almost pulled from the stage by an over-enthusiastic fan

Beyonce revealed she is "alright" after a fan tried to pull her off stage while she performed in Brazil.

The Grammy-winning songstress knelt down to be closer to fans as she sang her song Irreplaceable, and a shirtless man in the front row leant over, grabbed her and tried to yank her from the raised platform at Sao Paulo's Morumbi Stadium.

After being rescued by security, the Run The World star reassured the crowd at the end of her performance: "It's just some people jumping, they just got excited. It's alright."

Unfazed by what had happened, the 32-year-old asked the man for his name and then told him: "I love you too."

It's the latest incident to hit Beyonce, who previously got her hair caught in a fan and endured slaps to her bottom during her Mrs Carter Show tour.

Before her Sao Paulo gig, the mother-of-one - who is married to rapper Jay Z (Shawn Carter) - played the Rock In Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, which is known as one of the world's biggest-scale music events.
