John Mayer showed his romance with Katy Perry is still going strong, dedicating a song to her as he opened his tour.

The US singer-songwriter, who kicked off his Born And Raised World Tour at the Marcus Amphitheatre in Milwaukee, said the song A Face To Call Home was for Katy, reported Rolling Stone. The couple recently rekindled their romance following a brief split earlier this year.

John said the ballad was for "Katy, who is my face to call home".

The night marked John's first headlining show since doctors successfully repaired a granuloma in his throat last August.

He told the crowd how Firework singer Katy helped him after his operation, ordering food for him when he couldn't speak. "She was so patient," he said.

He added that the star took the time "to continue to get know me and love me".

Katy, 28, and John, 35, originally started dating last year but split in March. However, last month it emerged that the couple were giving their relationship another go.

Sagittarius:

You're moody and sensitive, especially when it comes to family matters. Although you should make a big change, emotional ties to home are holding you back. Stop making excuses for your failure to act. Just take a leap of faith. Your nearest and dearest will learn to live without your constant presence. Becoming more independent will actually strengthen your relationships, not weaken them. Start looking for your own place to live.More
