McBusted planning to record album

McBusted have confirmed they are planning to release an album.

The boy band - comprised of McFly and Busted members - will get to work on some new music during their upcoming tour and hope to record it when it ends.

Harry Judd told Capital FM that the supergroup, who got together last year, were thinking about getting started before they hit the road, but that other things had got in the way.

"We've had no time because of Tom (Fletcher) having his baby, the tour rehearsals and Matt's (Willis) filming bits on EastEnders. Everyone has been so busy," he explained.

The drummer went on: "It will happen after the tour. We'll be writing on the road and hopefully soon after the tour we'll get in the studio."

McBusted start their tour in Glasgow on April 17 and will play in cities including Liverpool, London, Newcastle, Cardiff and Birmingham, before finishing in Dublin in June.
