Miley upset by tour criticisms

Miley Cyrus has revealed she is having a tough time facing criticisms of her current world tour.

The Wrecking Ball singer has caused controversy with her raunchy antics while touring her album Bangerz and told Twitter followers that she had been upset by some of the negative comments about it.

She tweeted: "I don't think people realise how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down."

Miley then added: "As long as my b****** love me #bangerztour."

The concerts feature former Disney star Miley in a series of skimpy leotards, with one of them decorated in sequinned cannabis leaves, while she simulates a sex act on a dancer in a Bill Clinton mask, rubs her crotch and dances provocatively.

Last week, concert promoter Live Nation had to deny the tour was in danger of being cancelled because of complaints from parents of younger fans.

After her first show in Vancouver sparked outrage over her X-rated performance, Miley tweeted: "You can't say I didn't warn you. sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour."

She added: "Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that'."
