Nicki Minaj has admitted her latest photoshoot was the scariest one of her life - because she wasn't wearing much make-up.

The confident rapper isn't known for being bashful and has shared snaps of herself in skimpy bikinis on Twitter, but she confessed that posing without her trademark lipstick and luscious eyelashes for America's Elle magazine was a big challenge.

The Starships singer said: "When I saw myself with barely any make-up on, it was such a... like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard. I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes- you know, nothing - I felt naked. It was scary!

"So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."

The American Idol judge, who appears on the cover of the mag, also opened up about her goals, revealing she wants to leave a big legacy.

Nicki, 30, said: "My goal in the beginning was to buy my mother a house. Now I realise, okay, if I really focus and become a key player in business, then I can build an empire. I'm thinking of a legacy that I can be proud of and wealth that my grandchildren can use to go to college. So world domination - in terms of providing for my family - is absolutely my goal."

Aries:

You must be decisive. Don't leave your Fate in the hands of others. If you need more money, ask for a raise. Are you dissatisfied with a relationship? Issue an ultimatum. Are you perturbed by an ethical matter? Speak on behalf of justice. People will be uncomfortable with your dramatic behaviour, but they will respond to it. Waiting for a miracle to arrive simply isn't wise. When you want to make a change, you have to take action, even at the risk of being unpopular.More
